Thoughts: Next to Normal Tour 1/25
In some ways, I don’t know what to think about the new cast.  Alice Ripley, of course, is wonderful in her completely unique performance.  I still love her, even though I’ve grown to appreciate Marin Mazzie’s more nuanced and tragic performance over the last few months.  I felt less of a connection to the portrayal I witnessed tonight, and I don’t know whether that was...
