Anyone want 2 free tickets to Queen of the Mist?
I just won them and don’t think I’ll be able to use them! Plus I’ve seen the show and don’t really need to see it again when there’s other stuff I also want to see. Let me know and I can e-mail you the voucher once it’s e-mailed to me.
If you’re in NYC in the next few weeks I highly recommend Queen of the Mist. Mary Testa is so, so good. And you get a Julia Murney song involving an axe and a bible. What more could you want? Seriously, it’s Michael John LaChiusa so it’s a bit weird in places but I definitely overlooked that. They have $20 rush tickets an hour before the show.
It was also my first really, really off-Broadway (like, not even in a real theater) show… so that’s kind of a milestone for me. Anyway, it’s good. See it if you like this kind of stuff.

Do I really need the Ultimate Playbill binder?
Or will they be decently protected in the basic binder? I mean, archival whatever is nice… but is it $25 more nice? Any opinions from people who have them?
$40ish at the BC/EFA Flea Market:
-Promises, Promises Program & Sweatshirt
-Kate Shindle & Sherie Rene Scott CDs
-Random stuff at the spinning wheel: Addams Family tickets, misc show merch, health club pass (? lol)
-Free Lysistrata Jones pom poms
-OBC Wicked Playbill with slip for Laura Bell Bundy as Glinda
I think that’s it. I’ve just been wanting to go for 5 years and am ridiculously excited that I was able to this year. I might not be able to walk tomorrow… but it was worth it! So amazing to watch them raise $200k at the auction, too! Crazy prices.

Something is not the same
I’m through with playing by the rules
Of someone else’s game
Too late for second-guessing
Too late to go back to sleep
It’s time to trust my instincts
Close my eyes: and leap!
